Year 6 have been learning how to write in a biographical style.

While learning the features of a biography, we learnt about Charles Dickens from his birth to when he died and the legacy he left behind. Through drama work, and imagining a conversation between an interviewer and Charles Dickens, the class explored possible answers to questions he might have been asked. Year 6 learnt about his novels and novellas and also the highs and lows of his life. From this, Year 6 moved to independently writing about Charles Darwin, his life and the legacy he left behind.
