So proud our our netball team…
They played with heart and determination. Great teamwork too. We were delighted to see so many previous pupils supporting at the event as sports leaders.

… to our playground leaders on completing their training and receiving their special hoodies. We are very proud!
They had the best time at Robin Wood and participated in the most exciting activities. Rock climbing, canoeing, trapeze, archery and the zip wire were just some of the activities the pupils took part in. A huge thank you to all the staff who supported the pupils.
We participated in a Year Three and Four cross country event with Horizon Community Collage and the pupils had a great time! We are very proud that St Mary’s had the fastest boy in Barnsley! Well done to everyone who took part.
Massive thank you to @SummerLanePS and @SgoHorizon for an amazing @threestmarys orienteering afternoon. The pupils loved meeting new friends and developing their orienteering skills in a new environment.
Providing physical activity opportunities for children to enjoy and have loads of fun. Smiles all around. Year Three loved the colour run! What an opportunity!
They have a grid of cones and are using a map to reach the destination- next week, we will be outside.
We have had an amazing afternoon competing at ball skills with Year One and Two at Reds in the Community. Great effort and dedication shown by all.
We hope you have learnt some useful and enjoyable games to bring back to school. We can’t wait until your hoodies arrive! #PlaygroundLeaders #SchoolGames
Year Three loved taking part in ball skills in Reds in the Community. The pupils had so much fun and loved representing school.
The smiles showed how much it meant to be part of the aquafest today! Well done to the 12 schools, 145 children who took part @BPLMetrodome. It’s been a fab day for everyone. Thank so much to the Metrodome staff for all their support and hard work.
We were very lucky that Year Four were chosen to try the new Les Mills fitness programme for Barnsley Premier Leisure today. The pupils really enjoyed the session and loved trying out something new.
