Les Mills fitness programme…

We were very lucky that Year Four were chosen to try the new Les Mills fitness programme for Barnsley Premier Leisure today. The pupils really enjoyed the session and loved trying out something new.

Well done Year Four!

Year Four children enjoyed playing basket ball today at a tournament at Horizon Community College. The pupils played well and came third overall. Ms Saynor is super proud.

A force to be reconned with…

Our Year 3 and 4 girls were a force to be reconned with on the football pitch last week. They played with true heart and worked well as a team. Well done for representing school so well.

So proud!

As part of swimming safety week, we entered a competition to with lots of other schools in Barnsley to make a poster about swim safety and this member of Year Five won!

Tag rugby

Our Year Two pupils took part in a tag rugby competition today and they came 4th out of 11 schools. The children had a great time and really enjoyed the event. Well done to all the children involved.

Reds in the Community

We came overall third place at the KS2 athletics event at Reds in the Community today. The pupils were wonderful representatives of school and they had a great time participating too. A huge well done to everyone involved. Next week, we will be showcasing our dance routine at the dance competition.

Day Two of Robinwood for Year Six…

The pupils have had a full day of activities. They have participated in archery, the giant swing, canoeing and trapeze to name a few. Excellent behaviour and resilience shown by all. Well done Year Six.

Robinwood…

Day One of Robinwood for Year Six and the pupils have had the best time! A new centre to their Year Four residential experience and the pupils have loved it. They have participated in zip wire, create challenge, climbing wall and nightline. We can’t wait to see what they do tomorrow.
