They  recognised that working together on the internet can be public or private and then carried out a task to show how the internet enables effective collaboration. Building on the last lesson which explored working together online, the children drew a picture. This was then added to by another member of the class, to show how it is possible to collaborate on a piece of work to improve or change its original purpose. Using the computers, Year 6 then used Scratch to ‘remix’ a prepared set of code. By changing this code, it was possible to see what each instruction told the computer. The class enjoyed changing sprites, backgrounds and even added sounds to the original code.
