A stereotype is an idea about a particular group of people that is often untrue and unfair. Through discussion, Year 6 used the idea of ‘baddies’ which they had seen in TV shows or films and their appearanceĀ  to collect facial features these characters have in common. By looking at images of people with various scars and disfigurements, Year 6 were then asked the question ‘does that mean all these people are all bad?’ The conclusion Year 6 came to was we must never judge somebody just by the way they look.
